Iyengar Yoga classes in Jindabyne, Cooma and Perisher
Georgina has been practicing yoga since she was a young teen. After a 6 year career in snow sports living winters in Jindabyne and northern winters in the US coaching skiing, she traveled to Baja Mexico to begin a yoga journey as a teacher, a journey which changed her life. It was here that she found the joy of incorporating yoga into her everyday life, deepening her yoga practice and also taking her first steps towards teaching. She ended up moving to back to Jindabyne where she opened her yoga studio "Alpine Yoga" in April 2009. She has since taught yoga full time to locals, seasonal winter staff and holiday makers, running classes out of her studio in Jindabyne, Perisher and Cooma. In winter Georgina incorporates yoga with snow sports. With her knowledge and years of experience in the industry she firmly believes Yoga is a great way to condition your body for skiing and snowboarding, the biggest benefit Yoga can bring to snow sports is injury prevention.
